If the total ages of A, B, and C be 27, then B is 10 years old. Steps to calculate the age of B:
Let x years be the age of C:
Then, according to the question age of B = 2x years.
Age of A = (2x + 2) years
Finding the value of x
(2x + 2) + 2x + x = 27
In simplification we get the:
5x = 25
x = 5
Age of B = 2x = 10 years
