ICMR JRF Exam 2022

ICMR JRF exam will have only one paper consisting of three sections. Section A consists of questions related to general aptitude, general knowledge and natural phenomena. Section A is compulsory for all candidates. There will be 50 questions in this section. The other two sections (B and C) are topic-specific sections. Section B refers to the life sciences, and section C to the social sciences. Applicants must choose one of the sections from B and C. These sections have 100 questions each, and 75 questions need to be attempted only. If candidates attempt all the 100 questions, then the only first 75 questions will be considered for the marking. Sections	Exam Pattern
Section A	There will be 50 objective type questions in Section ‘A’. Candidates are required to answer all 50 questions. For each correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded. The wrong answer will attract a negative marking of 0.25 marks. This section has questions related to General Aptitude, General Knowledge, emphasising logical reasoning, graphical analysis, analytical and numerical ability, natural phenomena, etc.
Section B (Biomedical Science)	This is an optional section for those students who chose Social science as a subject. This section consists of Biomedical Science related questions. There will be 100 objective type questions in Part ‘B’. Candidates are required to answer any 75 questions. In case a student answers more than 75 questions, only the first 75 answers will be checked. For each correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded. The wrong answer will attract a negative marking of 0.25 marks.
Section C (Social Science)	This is an optional section for those students who chose Life science as a subject. This section consists of questions related to social science. There will be a total of 100 objective type questions in Part ‘C’. The candidates are required to answer 75 questions out of 100 questions. In case a student answers more than 75 questions, only the first 75 answers will be evaluated. For each correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded. The wrong answer will attract a negative marking of 0.25 marks.
