7 Upcoming Government Exams Worth Preparing in 2022-23

SSC CGL 2022-23

Combined Graduate Level (CGL) is also the easiest government job exam which is to be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Only graduates are eligible to sit for this exam. The recruitment process comprises four stages which are Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4. Tier 1 and Tier 2 are Computer Based Test. Tier 1 comprises four subjects which are General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension with a total of 100 questions. Tier 2 comprises mainly two subjects including Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension, General Studies (Economics & Finance) and Statistics are optional subjects, each of these subjects consists of 100 questions except for English Comprehension which consists of 200 questions.
Tier 3 is a descriptive paper while Tier 4 comprises of Skill Test/ Data Entry Skill Test, and Computer Proficiency Test (CPT).

Every year, the SSC board releases a total of 8000 to 11,000 vacancies in which 25 to 40 Lakh candidates register and only 1.5 Lakh candidates are able to qualify for Tier 2.

SSC CGL Exam Date 2021-22

SSC CHSL 2022-23

Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) is also one of the easiest government job exams conducted in India. Candidates on clearing the exam get a post of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA), Sorting Assistant (SA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO). The salary offered is in the range of Rs 20,000 to Rs 80,000 (depending upon the years of service). This exam has 3 stages which are CBT-1, Descriptive Paper, and Typing Test/ Skill Test.
Going by the past year trends around 25 to 50 Lakh candidates register for this exam and only 40 to 50 per cent of candidates appear for this exam.

SSC CHSL Exam Dates 2021-22

SSC MTS 2022-23

Multi-tasking Staff (MTS) is third among the top 9 easiest exams on our list. This exam is conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Class 10^th pass candidates are eligible to apply for this exam. This exam involves 2 stages of recruitment which are Paper 1 and Paper 2.
Paper 1 consists of questions from 4 different subjects which are General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English, and General Awareness with a total of 100 questions. Paper 2 included a short essay with a weightage of 50 marks.
Looking at the past year trends, around 70 Lakh candidates register for this exam and around 1.6 Lakh candidates are selected for Paper 2.

RRB Group D Exam 2021-22

RRB Group D exam 2021 is going to be conducted in the month of June 2022 to recruit 1,03,769 vacancies. RRB Group D exam is being conducted to recruit candidates for the posts of Helper, Porter, Track Maintainer, Sweeper cum Porter, Assistant Pointsman, Hospital Attendant etc. These posts come under Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix. The initial pay of ₹18000/- and other allowances are given to a Group D employee.

SSC Stenographer 2022-23

SSC Stenographer is a national-level competitive entrance exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for the recruitment of Grade C and Grade D jobs. SSC invites candidates for the recruitment of Stenographer Grade C & D in a General Central Service Group ‘C’ & ‘D’ Non-Gazetted post in various Central Government Ministries/Departments, in different States & Union Territories. SSC Stenographer 2022 Notification is soon going to be out for Grade C & Grade D posts. SSC Selection Post Phase X

For the year 2022, SSC will release the recruitment notification for SSC Selection Post Phase X will release on 10-05-2022 as per the SSC calendar 2021-22. SSC recruits eligible 10th Pass, 12th Pass, and Graduates for various posts through this examination. Online application starts from 10th May 2022 to 9th June 2022. Admit cards are most likely to come out in April 2022 and Online CBE  Examination for SSC Selection Post will be conducted in the month of July 2022. There will be 3 different CBT exams as per the qualification of the post. Though the exam level is easy, the number of aspirants is high. However, in order to qualify for this exam, you must work upon speed and accuracy as well.

SSC CPO 2022-23

SSC CPO 2022 is a national-level exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission to recruit suitable candidates for various posts of Inspector, and Sub-Inspector in various departments working under the Government of India. Different departments in which candidates can be placed if they qualify for the SSC CPO 2022 selection Process are Delhi Police, CISF, and CAPFs.

SSC CPO 2022 Notification shall be released on 10 August 2022 as per the exam calendar released by SSC. Further, the exam date for the SSC CPO shall be in December 2022. The candidates will be selected through 2 stages written exam followed by a medical examination for the CPO Police post. The candidates who are willing to apply for any of the posts should attain a graduate degree /diploma /certificate including a technical education degree/diploma from a recognized university. Applicants who have completed graduation from open or distance learning mode of education are also eligible to apply.
